Spring start-up is more than turning the water back on. We check the whole system, including:
- Turning on the water supply and pressurizing the system
- Checking each zone for coverage, broken heads, and proper operation
- Adjusting head heights and spray patterns as needed
- Inspecting and testing valves for proper open/close function
- Reviewing controller settings and updating the schedule
- Checking the backflow preventer
- Flagging anything that needs repair, so you can decide before it becomes a bigger problem
Winterization (Blowout Service)
Water left in irrigation lines can freeze, expand, and crack pipes, heads, and valves. Our winterization service includes:
- Controller shutoff and deactivation
- Main water supply shutoff
- Compressed air blowout of all zones to clear water from lines and heads
- Valve inspection and winterization
- Backflow preventer draining and protection
- Final system walkthrough
